Report on the Creative Practice: “The Importance of Moral Education”

On 19 March 2025, Fathima Memorial Training College (FMTC), Mylapore, hosted an engaging and insightful creative practice session organized by Group 5 on the theme “The Importance of Moral Education.” The programme was conducted in the Seminar Hall with the objective of highlighting the crucial role of moral and ethical values in shaping responsible individuals and fostering a harmonious society.
The session commenced with a thought-provoking video presentation that emphasized the growing relevance of moral education in the contemporary world. Through relatable real-life situations, the video effectively illustrated how values such as honesty, empathy, respect, and responsibility positively influence personal behavior and social interactions.
Following the video presentation, the members of Group 5 presented a detailed report outlining the key dimensions of moral education. The presentation focused on how moral values contribute to character building, enhance decision-making abilities, and strengthen interpersonal relationships. It also highlighted the role of moral education in nurturing civic sense, compassion, tolerance, and mutual respect among individuals.
