Introduction
The third week of my Phase-II teaching practice was rich with insightful experiences that enhanced my teaching abilities and strengthened my connection with the students. I continued and completed the lesson A Tryst with Destiny, engaged learners in text-based discussion, and introduced the new story Thank You Ma’am. Each day brought opportunities to improve my instructional strategies, classroom management, and confidence. The lessons also encouraged meaningful discussions on values such as responsibility, kindness, and empathy. Overall, this week played an important role in shaping my growth as a reflective and effective teacher trainee.
Day 9 – Continuing the Lesson (17.11.2025)
I continued the lesson A Tryst with Destiny by revisiting the earlier portion to refresh students’ understanding. Their attentiveness and participation made the session meaningful and smooth.

I felt confident handling the continuation of the lesson. The students’ interest in the topic motivated me, and their responses showed that they understood Nehru’s message. I realized that giving relatable examples made the content more accessible. The day helped reinforce my belief that good explanation and clarity encourage better involvement.
Reflection on Action:
The session showed me the importance of connecting historical speeches to students’ real-life experiences. The active participation indicated that my planning was effective. I understood the need to include simple explanations to break down complex ideas. Going forward, I plan to incorporate more examples and questions to deepen understanding.
