EID CELEBRATIONS @ FMTC

Fathima Memorial Training College, Mylapore, celebrated Eid with great enthusiasm and reverence on March 28, 2025, in the Seminar Hall. The programme fostered an atmosphere of harmony, joy, and cultural unity among students and faculty, beautifully blending religious devotion with festive spirit and social responsibility.

The programme was gracefully compered by Nesla N and Fathima R. The celebration began with the recitation of Fatiha by Sumayya S, which set a serene and devotional tone for the event. This was followed by an inspiring message from the Principal, Dr. M. Omanaseelan, who emphasized the importance of communal harmony, compassion, and moral values in academic and social life.

A thoughtful Eid message by Shahinamol S highlighted the significance of the festival as a symbol of love, generosity, forgiveness, and togetherness. The cultural segment of the programme added vibrancy to the occasion, featuring a Mehandi Fest, soulful Perunnal songs, and an energetic group dance, all of which were warmly appreciated by the audience.

The celebration also included a Prize Distribution ceremony, recognizing the achievements and talents of students, which added excitement and motivation to the event.

The programme concluded with the distribution of Iftar gifts to the needy, reflecting the true essence of Eid as a festival of sharing, empathy, and social commitment. The celebration successfully conveyed the message of unity in diversity and left a lasting impression on all participants, making it a memorable and meaningful occasion for the FMTC family.
