Inspiring Young Minds through Learning Beyond the Classroom
As part of the B.Ed curriculum, the student teachers of Fathima Memorial Training College (FMTC), Mylapore, successfully conducted a school-based activity at G.M.B.H.S.S., Kollam with the aim of promoting academic excellence, creativity, and value-based learning among students. The activity was thoughtfully organized on 3rd October to commemorate the 92nd Birth Anniversary of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, the former President of India and fondly remembered as the “Missile Man of India.”
Purpose and Objectives of the Activity
The school-based activity was designed with clear educational and developmental objectives. It aimed to contribute to the holistic formation of students’ personalities by nurturing confidence, creativity, and critical thinking. The programme provided a platform for students to discover and showcase their talents, develop essential life skills, and understand the importance of education and values in shaping a responsible generation.
